Diet and Nutrition for Fibromyalgia

Diet and nutrition have become primary ways that I've improved fibromyalgia symptoms. I've learned that controlling what I eat and put in my body has a direct effect on how I feel. Cutting out gluten and grains, and juicing on a daily basis has greatly improved the symptoms of Fibromyalgia.

How I finally found a healthy gut with Visbiome

Like many with Fibromyalgia, I also live with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I tend to swing between IBS-C and IBS-D. At least that was always the case until I finally found a probiotic that really worked. For months I would wake up every morning with watery stool, and often repeated occurrences … [Read more...]

could food sensitivities be making your fibromyalgia symptoms worse?

Back in 2012, after spending two years feeling so awful I barely got off the couch/bed except for doctor appointments, I finally reached the point where I was willing to try anything - even completely changing my diet. During the previous two years I’d had many people suggest food sensitivities as a … [Read more...]

Celiac is not the only reason people react to wheat

There has been so much back and forth in the media and even among researchers in the last few years regarding whether or not those of us without celiac disease or a identified wheat allergy can actually react to wheat, with some claiming it's all in our heads. It's beginning to remind me just why exercise is so important, especially when you have fibromyalgia. Instead of planned regular exercise, I've been over-doing it in other ways. I've been … [Read more...]

Gluten-free keto belgian waffles

Gluten-free Keto Belgian Waffles I had forgotten that I like to cook. I think I go in phases with it and after switching to gluten-free I moved away from cooking quite a bit.
