Chronic Illness Products that I can’t be without

8 products I don't want to be without

Over the years I've tried so many things to help make life easier with various chronic illnesses. Some items were sent to me for review by the companies, others I found on my own, others still were recommended by friends and family. Most things that I've tried I end up using for a short time then … [Read more...]

Juicer Comparison: Omega vs Breville

Comparing the Omega Big Mouth Juicer to the Breville JE98XL Over the last six years, I've used three juicers, including two very similar centrifugal juicers: the Omega BMJ330 and the Breville JE98XL Each has it's advantages and disadvantages. Review: Simply Earth Essential Oil recipe subscription box

I enjoy essential oils, mostly for the aromatherapy aspects. I've played with essential oils for a year or so and am by no means and expert. I have a handful that I really like, including a few blends, but I've not really tried making my own blends. The only "recipes" I've made with essential … [Read more...]

My nose can’t take more stink (a review)

EnviroKlenz Laundry Enhancer

Those of us with Fibromyalgia, for whatever reason, have an enhanced sense of smell, even though studies tell us otherwise. All of our senses seem to be heightened. My husband would certainly agree that my sense of smell is equivalent to a superpower. I smell things that no one else even notices, … [Read more...]

TechCare TENS for chronic pain

Last Updated: March 24, 2017

TechCare TENS Unit

I've shared a few times here about how TENS has helped me through many chronic pain issues. I was first introduced to TENS through physical therapy for tennis elbow back in 2007. I can't recall if that was when I received my first home unit as well. Back then they were expensive and I was lucky that … [Read more...]

You know I love to try new things that might help relieve pain or make life easier, and you know I'm a huge fan of CBD oil (or hemp oil extract). So, when offered the chance to try this latest product I couldn't say no. I have been given this Limitless Lotion as part of a product review through … [Read more...]

I have a couple of herniated discs in my neck. If you’ve been following along with my blog for a while then you know that my neck gives me a lot of fits. What is an Oska Pulse and how did it change my life

Recently, I have the opportunity to try a type of product that is totally new to me. The Oska Pulse is a wearable pain relief device that uses Pulse Electro-Magnetic Frequency to reduce, and even eliminate, pain. Back in June of 2016 a guy named Steve contacted me about his device, the … [Read more...]

Warming away the Pain with Sunbeam® Heating Pads (sponsored)

Last Updated: September 26, 2016

Sunbeam Heating Pads - #FindYourAhh

I'm not a fan of cold packs. Let's just get that out there. When I was in PT regularly it seemed like they always wanted to hook me up to a TENS machine then wrap me in cold packs. All I would do is cinch up, forcing my muscles to get even tighter than they already were, creating more pain. I … [Read more...]
