Epidural injections for chronic back pain

Back in 2013 I moved wrong and it sent me into such pain that I couldn't move to even pick up my phone. The … [Read more...]

Why you should get your ducts cleaned

Last Updated: October 4, 2013

This is not what you want to see being sucked into your air system. If you've not had your ducts cleaned in a while, it's time to do so. I recently had ours cleaned and I was quite surprised at the outcome. It turned out that there's no telling what issues our air flow might have been … [Read more...]

I'm really happy to see more and more studies being done on Fibromyalgia lately. Granted some haven't had wonderful outcomes, like the recent Dutch study that claimed that there was no connection between weather and how those of us with Fibromyalgia feel. One of the great joys (sic) of dealing with Fibro that I've personally found is the energy vampires. Groups of people will often suck the energy out of me and leave me feeling just dead in no time flat, but sometimes it only takes one person. There are certain types of people who seem to suck the … [Read more...]

Can you Turn that Down? Sensitivity to Noise

Last Updated: September 14, 2010

I'm really not doing well with noise today. There are days when I can't even stand to have the tv on, and it seems that this is one of my "quiet" days. The problem is that I have a contractor here installing sidelight windows on our door, which equals lots of noise. That level of noise (the power … [Read more...]
