How Oska Helps Me Accomplish More

Last Updated: June 26, 2017

Welcome! It looks like you might be new here, so I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about me and my blog. My name is Julie Ryan and I live with Fibromyalgia. I've chosen to live positively, to fight back with diet and lifestyle changes and it's made a huge difference for me. The difference between living all my days in bed, and actually LIVING. I hope you'll keep reading and subscribe to my Newsletter to make sure you don't miss a post. Thanks for visiting!

*BTW, just a heads up that the post below may have affiliate links (some of my posts do).

Welcome back! I'm so glad that you are here again. If you've not already, be sure to subscribe to my Newsletter and I'll update you each time I post (and occasionally I'll send you something special).

Just a heads up that the post below may have affiliate links.

A couple of weeks ago I did something I didn’t think I’d ever do again (I’ve had a lot of those moments in the last 6-8 months). What is it? You ask. I painted my bedroom, by myself. Top to bottom, all in one day. Even if I’d only done a small amount that still would have been amazing, especially if I managed it without extra pain.

But, I actually did the whole room with no pain. My shoulder/neck didn’t freak out and yell at me during or after. Sure, I was sore and tired the next day, but after 6 hours of solid work who wouldn’t be?

Accomplishing More with Oska Pulse

Painting my bedroomIt’s a pretty awesome feeling to look around at the room and know that “I did this!”

Sure, I get a great sense of accomplishment from my work, from blogging and hearing back from readers that I’ve helped them. I get a great sense of accomplishment from all of my work. But, this was different because it was so much more. This room has needed painted for years, and it’s gotten put off and put off. I’d finally had enough and just wanted to do it, so I did. And, amazingly I was able.

In case you’re curious, the darker color is the new color. The previous color is what I like to refer to as “old lady peach.”

Painting my bedroom

Yes, I definitely overdid it and I continued to push when my body told me it was time to stop. I really just wanted to get all the cut-ins done so that the walls were done (even if the trim wasn’t) so I could put the furniture back. I can go back and do the trim later (and I will).

There are going to be times when I overdo it, but what is awesome is that even though I overdid it and I was a little dead the next morning, I was still able to keep going. I couldn’t have painted another room the next day, but I was able to get out and take part in a group that I enjoy.

That feeling of accomplishment when you are able to do something you never thought you'd do again. Share on X

I can honestly say that the only reason I was able to do this is because of Oska Pulse. That little device really has given me my life back. There are just so many things that I’d really given up on doing again… in some ways I’d given up on having the life I want, but because of Oska I know I can have the life I want. I can do the things I want to do (without pain).

If I want to paint, I can paint – whether it’s going to a painting party, or painting a room. If I want to write by hand, I can write by hand. If I want to wear a bra, I can wear a bra!

In case you’re curious about what Oska Pulse is (or isn’t), here’s a few bits and pieces:

Oska Pulse is NOT:

  • A TENS Unit – People always ask me if it’s a TENS Unit, it’s not. It’s nothing like a TENS unit. In face, comparing the two is like comparing an apple to a basketball – not even the same family. Yes, they are both pain relief devices but that’s as close as they get.A TENS unit sends electrical signals into the nerves to block the pain signal from reaching the brain. It does not actually stop the pain or heal the problem. Oska Pulse uses Pulse Electromagnetic Frequency to basically help re-align the cells. It actually heals at a cellular level.

And, unlike TENS, there’s no sticky electrodes or wires. Oska doesn’t even have to touch your body (and it rarely touches mine).

  • A Magic Bullet – Chances are that you won’t feel anything the first time you use Oska, maybe not even the first dozen times. It took me a few months of use to really see a difference. However, the more often you use it the faster you will see results (I didn’t use it often during those first few months). Some people do see relief in just one or two uses. The longer the pain has hung around the longer it’s probably going to take to get rid of it.

And often, you won’t even notice the results until someone else points out that you are moving better or doing things that you haven’t been able to do.

Oska Pulse Is:

  • Cleared by the FDA to reduce pain and inflammation, and increase range of motion – It’s done all of these for me (and for every member of my family).Whether it’s a twisted ankle, a pained back, or even a migraine. It’s helped all of those things and more. It also increases blood flow which speeds healing in general. If you didn’t see my post about how it helped heal my surgery incisions you should check that out.

  • Available Risk-Free – Oska offers an amazing 30-day money back guarantee. This gives you the opportunity to try it for 30 days. Use the hell out of it (please, please use it as much as possible during that time. Don’t expect to get results if you aren’t using it!).If you don’t get pain relief you can return it. You can also combine that 30-day money back guarantee with Paypal financing to allow you to try it completely risk-free. With PayPal financing you pay nothing for 6 months. By then, Oska will be your new best friend.

Save $55 when you use my link when purchasing Oska Pulse. One thing I can definitely say about the people at Oska Wellness is that they really care about those of us with chronic pain. I’ve actually met most of their board and every one of them really cares.
