AromaFloria Muscle Soak Bath & Body Collection

Last Updated: August 26, 2016

Bathtime is part of my bedtime ritual. When I skip my bath I don't fall asleep as easily or sleep as well. Often, I'll try to skip it if we stay out too late but it never works out well for me. I, at least, pour a couple of cups of Epsom salt into my bath to help my muscles relax. Sometimes I'll … [Read more...]

Futura Genetics - DNA kit

Cancer seems to run through my family, and often seems to run over my family. As I've posted recently my mom is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. This is the second time she's had cancer. On her side of the family there is also skin cancer, but not much otherwise. On my biological father's … [Read more...]

Finding Serenity and Rejuvenation

Last Updated: June 24, 2016

Serenity and Rejuvenation from The Fay Farm

As I shared with her earlier in the week, things have been a little hectic for the last couple of months. Stress has been high, which (thanks to Fibro) has meant increased pain and fatigue. Increased fatigue (combined with more time with my mom) has meant less time to focus on things like blogging … [Read more...]

Review of Quell Wearable Pain Relief Device   Chronic pain is the story of my life. I've found ways to control the pain but that doesn't mean it's gone. I Thinx these Period Panties are Winners

Guys, skip this post... just keep moving alone. In fact, go read this post. I've run across these period panties in a few places. They promise to absorb a bit so that maybe you won't need a liner and you can feel a little more comfortable and confident during that time of the month. As I read … [Read more...]

pHwatr: The easy way to alkaline water

Last Updated: June 1, 2016

The acidity of your body matters. Too much acid can lead to a host of ailments and symptoms that only start with your stomach. An alkaline diet is often promoted as a way to lower the body's acidity and improve health. Acidity is a measure of the concentration of hydrogen on a scale of 1-14. Under 7 … [Read more...]

The Cleaner Way to IBS Around

Last Updated: May 26, 2016

Luxe Bidets and Cleaning up the IBS Mess

IBS sucks. Whether it's IBS-C or IBS-D or some combination of the two, it's no fun either way. I live with the combination kind. It will swing over to constipation for a while then it will swing back to diahrea for a while and usually lives in some strange land in between, where I never feel like … [Read more...]

Nimble: The easy way to open packages

One of the joys (or not) of living with chronic illness is that shopping kind of sucks the life out of you. Sometimes leaving the house sucks the life out of you. So, instead I order a lot online. I order my supplements online, I order a lot of clothes online. I do about as much shopping online as I … [Read more...]

PillSuite Makes Taking Meds Easier

Last Updated: April 8, 2016

A couple of years ago I posted about PillPack. It was something I couldn't quite wrap my head around trying because my pills change too often. Yet, I've stayed enamored with the idea of having my pills in nice little sealed baggies so that I can grab them and go. If I could just make my own, I … [Read more...]
