Last Updated: July 6, 2014

Stop Worrying about tomorrow

How often do you avoid doing something because you are worried about how it will make you feel? How much time do you spend worrying about tomorrow? What could happen? I fired my Physical Therapist today. If I don’t do it, no one else will

Last Updated: November 25, 2010

Many reports show that most of us with Fibromyalgia are "Type A"/ Control Freak / Perfectionist personalities. Over and over at support group and online I hear "If I don't do it, no one else will" or "If I let someone else do it, I'll just have to re-do it anyway". At some point you do have to learn … [Read more...]

Handling the Holidays

The holidays are a stressful time for anyone but I think for those of us with Fibro or other chronic issues that leave us tired and stressed, the holidays just make matters worse. In our case, the last few years we've pulled double duty on Thanksgiving day, driving an hour to have lunch with my … [Read more...]

The problem is that I have a contractor here installing sidelight windows on our door, which equals lots of noise. That level of noise (the power … [Read more...]
