You know how it is, you have Fibro so you will try pretty much anything to help ease the pain. I can't count the number of different products I've tried for pain (from bath salts, to … [Read more...]
My experience with chronic illnesses covers several different illness.
I hope that much of what I share on this blog can be helpful to anyone living with (or without) any chronic illness. However, my experience and my posts tend to be geared towards fibromyalgia, endometriosis, migraines, and IBS and my experience with those illnesses.

“I Find I Have to Treat My Fibro Patients More Aggressively”
I find it interesting that while I constantly hear about how so many Drs don't believe in Fibro and give patients with Fibro a hard time, I am evidently very lucky when it comes to my Drs. Today I went to see my Opthamologist, who I just adore. She is so sweet and is one of the only Drs I have … [Read more...]

But, some people really do care and really do want to know how we are doing. I am constantly … [Read more...]

Alternative Treatments: Acupuncture

My chiropractor originally started giving me acupuncture when I first started having issues with TMJ and nothing else seemed to be helping my migraines (this was before we even realized it was … [Read more...]

The Fibromyalgia Handbook is not the 7 step Program to halting or reversing Fibromyalgia, as it claims to be. Fibromyalgia and Increased Sensitivity to Noise, Lights, Smells, People
I've had a slight case of social anxiety for the last 5 or 6 years. I'd managed to deal with it for the most part, although every once in a while a situation would jump out at me. The last couple of years have been a little harder, I have to force myself through certain situations, but lately I … [Read more...]
