My nose can’t take more stink (a review)

Last Updated: June 2, 2017

Welcome! It looks like you might be new here, so I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about me and my blog. My name is Julie Ryan and I live with Fibromyalgia. I've chosen to live positively, to fight back with diet and lifestyle changes and it's made a huge difference for me. The difference between living all my days in bed, and actually LIVING. I hope you'll keep reading and subscribe to my Newsletter to make sure you don't miss a post. Thanks for visiting!

*BTW, just a heads up that the post below may have affiliate links (some of my posts do).

Welcome back! I'm so glad that you are here again. If you've not already, be sure to subscribe to my Newsletter and I'll update you each time I post (and occasionally I'll send you something special).

Just a heads up that the post below may have affiliate links.

Those of us with Fibromyalgia, for whatever reason, have an enhanced sense of smell, even though studies tell us otherwise. All of our senses seem to be heightened. My husband would certainly agree that my sense of smell is equivalent to a superpower. I smell things that no one else even notices, like the stink that lives near our powder room in the summer, or the smell that comes off his shirts, especially his running shirts. We’ve had battles where he’s had to change his shirt multiple times because every one he puts on stinks.

this is a sponsored postWe finally chased the stinky shirt issue down to his running shirts. That “manly” sweat stink that comes with running would then get washed into all his shirts when he did laundry. His answer has been one of many steps involving rinsing his running clothes and soaking them in vinegar immediately after taking them off and before washing them. They are also now washed alone. Of course, this means that his running shirts now smell like vinegar instead of sweat, but at least his other shirts don’t carry the same stench.

When I was approached by EnviroKlenz and offered the chance to review one of their products I knew it would be the Laundry Enhancer as soon as I saw it. There had to be a better way to get the stink out of his clothes!

It took a bit for me to get him to actually give it a try. In the meantime, I used it on a few loads of regular laundry and found that the laundry (whether it was towels or clothes) came out without any lingering scents (whether of mildew or laundry soap). Things came out of the wash simply smelling clean.

Finally, though, he did start using it in with his clothes (and most importantly his running clothes) and good news, I didn’t start complaining of lingering scents. There were no lingering scents of manly stench, nor of vinegar (which, lets me be honest here is really just about as bad as manly stench). I don’t know how it does it but it pulls the stink out of clothes.

Sure, lots of products might manage this feat, but what makes EnviroKlenz really awesome is the fact that this product (and all of their products) are designed for those with chemical sensitivity or allergies. Whether you have a sensitivity to smells, fragrances, mold, or just some of the chemicals used in standard products, EnviroKlenz products can help you. So, EnviroKlenz Laundry Enhancer is not taking stink out at the cost of some other reaction. I don’t know about you, but I can’t use most regular laundry soaps anymore as they make me itchy (at best). We converted to a natural laundry soap a few years ago and noticed a huge difference. Unfortunately, sometimes with the natural laundry soaps you do trade a lack of reaction in for something that feels or smells a little less clean. So, I’ve been really happy that that’s not the case with EnviroKlenz.

The other huge advantage is the occasion when I’ve ordered clothes only to have them arrive, take them out of the box and packaging only to have them smell like they’ve been dipped in some strange chemical. I can “wash” these clothes with just the Laundry Enhancer and it takes that smell right out, leaving me clothes that are wearable.

Can you smell that smell? Ugh make it go away! Share on X

It’s important to note at this point that EnviroKlenz Laundry Enhancer is not a laundry soap, but is something you use in conjunction with your favorite laundry soap. EnviroKlenz also has a ton of other products that I want to try. Had I noticed the odor remover product. Twice now a cat has puked on my recliner and it’s taken mad skills (and a lot of tea tree oil) to get the smell out. So, this product could certainly come in handy around my home. While I don’t mind the scent of tea tree oil the amount I have to use to conquer the smell of cat puke is a bit overwhelming.

EnviroKlenz also offers a 100% money-back guarantee; so, if it doesn’t take the stink out of you, you can send it back. Based on my experience though, I’d be surprised if it comes to that.
