Last Updated: June 24, 2016

Serenity and Rejuvenation from The Fay Farm

As I shared with her earlier in the week, things have been a little hectic for the last couple of months. Stress has been high, which (thanks to Fibro) has meant increased pain and fatigue. Increased fatigue (combined with more time with my mom) has meant less time to focus on things like blogging … [Read more...]

Review of Quell Wearable Pain Relief Device   Chronic pain is the story of my life. I've found ways to control the pain but that doesn't mean it's gone. The Complete Guide to Turmeric

Last Updated: May 1, 2015

I'm a big fan of Turmeric for pain relief. Thanks to some ulcers a few years back I can no longer take NSAID pain relievers (Advil, Aleve), and sadly the pain I have often doesn't respond to other pain medications. The problems I've had in my shoulder are a great example. We still have no idea what … [Read more...]

Tips for preparing for laparoscopic surgery

I was totally unprepared for my first Laparoscopic surgery to look for endometriosis. Between the pre-surgical paperwork I'd received and my own memories of having my gallbladder out, I really didn't expect it to be a big deal. When I had my gallbladder out, I'd been having SO MUCH pain that the … [Read more...]

A recent study has shown that ginger does in fact reduce muscle pain by about 25%. I love ginger, love the smell and the taste. I'm thinking ginger tea could be a great additive to my daily regimen.
