The effect of health goals on health outcomes (study)

Last Updated: January 15, 2016

are your health goals within your grasp?

There are two types of people - internals and externals. Internals take the blame for everything because they feel that they are in control of the world around them, of how they react, how they behave, and even what happens to them. Don't let chronic illness take your dreams

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade... or so they say.    So many times I've watched my friends give up on their dreams for a variety of reasons, often it's because of their health. I was chatting with a new friend on Twitter the other day when this topic came up. Her … [Read more...]

Are We Choosing to Hold Onto the Pain?

Last Updated: October 14, 2013

It's time to let go of anything that is getting in the way of you feeling better

If I'm in the car, I'm listening to Dave Ramsey. I really enjoy hearing the callers, shaking my head at the stupid ones and celebrating with the ones that have made smart choices to find their way to debt freedom. Recently, I caught the episode where he interviewed Max Lucado  about his new book … [Read more...]

Last Updated: April 2, 2013

tuna & carrots for lunch & nutsThis was my lunch today (Day 3). Day 2 went by pretty uneventfully. However, I can't say I didn't stray at all. I did add a packet of raw sugar to my coffee. I'm really trying to get to where I can drink it totally black (but it's hard). I was thinking that I'd … [Read more...]
