Muscle aches and pains relief with Village Naturals

Last Updated: August 20, 2018

Welcome! It looks like you might be new here, so I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about me and my blog. My name is Julie Ryan and I live with Fibromyalgia. I've chosen to live positively, to fight back with diet and lifestyle changes and it's made a huge difference for me. The difference between living all my days in bed, and actually LIVING. I hope you'll keep reading and subscribe to my Newsletter to make sure you don't miss a post. Thanks for visiting!

*BTW, just a heads up that the post below may have affiliate links (some of my posts do).

Welcome back! I'm so glad that you are here again. If you've not already, be sure to subscribe to my Newsletter and I'll update you each time I post (and occasionally I'll send you something special).

Relieving Muscle Aches & Pains with Village Naturals

I’m a huge fan of baths. I’ve taken them nightly for the last eight years as part of my overall fibromyalgia treatment plan. I find that a bath at night helps my muscles relax, warms me up, and helps me get to sleep easier. I usually include scented epsom salts and bubble bath or bath oil to add to the overall relaxing feel. I find that the products from Village Naturals are perfect compliments to my bath.

This is a sponsored post

Village Naturals makes bath and body products formulated for those of us living with aches and pains, whether chronic or just the result of a hard day at work in the garden.

Keep reading for more on how Village Naturals can help relieve the aches & pains of fibromyalgia…

Village Naturals comes in 3 pain-relieving formulations.

Aches + Pains Muscle Relief combines eucalyptus, spearmint, & menthol to create a cooling sensation that helps sooth and relieve aching muscles and that overall achy feeling that we get with fibromyalgia.

Aches + Pains Nighttime combines lavender, chamomile, & menthol to help you and your muscles relax, and help you fall asleep easier and sleep better.

Aches + Pains Tension combines juniper, orange, & menthol to relieve tension and help you relax.

The box that I received from Village Naturals contained a great assortment of their Aches & Pains Nighttime and Aches & Pains Muscle Relief products.

Village Naturals aches and pains relief

Village naturals has the right combination of products for your needs.

Even if you don’t enjoy baths as much as I do, Village Naturals has products that can help ease your aches and pains. In addition to their foaming bath soak and mineral bath soak, they also have a combination foaming bath oil and body wash (can be used either as a bubble bath or as a body wash), and lotion in each of the formulations.

I like to mix and match the products to get a great balance. My favorite combination is a mixture of the Aches + Pains Nighttime mineral bath soak with the Aches + Pains Muscle Relief Foaming Bath Oil, followed up by one of the lotions. If it’s bedtime I go with the Aches + Pains nighttime lotion, of it’s earlier I’ll go with the Muscle Relief lotion.

I really enjoy the scents on all three formulations, but I’m a big fan of eucalyptus so that probably helps make the Aches + Pains Muscle Relief formulation my favorite combination.

Be Prepared for the Cool Down.

As all three formulations contains menthol they all have that cooling sensation. This can cool your bath water down as well, so you may want to turn it up a bit to compensate. If you are like me and tend to stay cold be prepared for the menthol to make you feel even colder. I typically have to plan on getting right into bed after putting the lotion on, to maintain my warmth. On the upside, this lotion is nice when it’s rather hot (like in the middle of summer).

I generally find it much easier to fall asleep when I’m cool and the lotion helps me with that by cooling me down so that I can get to sleep easier.

When Village Naturals came to me and asked if I’d be willing to write up something on their products I said yes without hesitating because I already knew that I loved the brand and the products. I love their natural blend of essential oils, extracts, and menthol that combine together into several really great products. I also love that the products are concentrated so that I don’t feel like I have to use a ton of it to get relief. A little bit of the lotion goes a long way and just a small amount of the foaming bath oil has my tub filled with amazing smelling bubbles.

I would L-O-V-E to win these products for pain as the Fibro and Neuropathy together leave me in pain more days and nights than I could ever have imagined. After going through Chemo four years ago this all started and the doctors never even informed of all the horrific ailments us cancer survivors would have to endure. Thank You for a chance to maybe try these products to see for myself if they help!

I’d love to win or try something which helps me cope with chronic pain, due to multiple issues, which I experience 24/7. I’ll try anything even remotely reasonable but it must be legal due to my husbands employment.

This is the first I have heard of these products. Can you really tell they make a difference with your fibromyalgia. And is it right then or can you tell it the next day. The flair ups have been bad this year so it would be a blessing to know something would make a difference. Thanks for sharing

The lotion does seem to help relieve some of the muscle pain. I can’t say it’s more than other similar products and I think some of the relief is from the distraction of the cooling feeling. That cooling feeling is really great if you deal with the burning hands and feet like I have.

Epsom salts baths are something I have been using in my regimen for a long time. Nothing beats a relaxing bath especially with that overflow gadget that you recommended. Have tried lotion with cbd in them and they are also very helpful with pain management. Would love to try these. Love your blog!
