As I shared with her earlier in the week, things have been a little hectic for the last couple of months. Stress has been high, which (thanks to Fibro) has meant increased pain and fatigue. Increased fatigue (combined with more time with my mom) has meant less time to focus on things like blogging or reading medical studies. I know I’ve been posting a lot of product reviews lately, and hopefully you aren’t getting worn out on that, I promise medical study posts will return, just not today.
Today, I am going to share with you the two newest products from one of my favorite small businesses, The Fay Farm. I’ve been writing about the Fay Farm here for the last year or so. I’ve shared their Muscle Rub and their Healing Hemp CBD lotion. The muscle rub is amazing and is the only thing that really helps my shoulder/ neck pain when it flares up. The lotion took a little to grow on me, mostly because I didn’t quite find where it fit in my life right away. However, I eventually found that using it on my feet at night really helps reduce the nerve pain that often wakes me.
My friend Donna over at Fed Up With Fatigue mentioned to me that combining the lotion with magnesium lotion actually worked even better at cutting the night-time nerve pain and she was so right. When I mentioned this to Micheal at The Fay Farm he was already a step ahead as they were working to create a new lotion blend that incorporated magnesium oil. Of course, I was jumping at the chance to try this new lotion when it finally became available this month.
Serenity is the new lotion from The Fay Farm that combines magnesium oil when their amazing lotions. They offer it in a CBD and non-CBD-based lotion. After trying both formulations I found that I prefer the CBD-based lotion and found that it has an amazing effect. Within minutes of putting it on I feel so much calmer. Given all that’s been going on my sleep has been affected, I’ve had a harder time falling asleep and I’ve generally just been more on edge. Using the lotion before bed resulted in my being able to relax and fall asleep in minutes instead of hours. Using the lotion in the morning and during the day means that I’m just generally a lot more calm. It’s easier to just let things go and not focus on the negatives (I’ll tell you that last bit has been really important).
The fine folks at the Fay Farm (don’tcha just love that alliteration?) recommend that when you try the Serenity lotions that you first assess your stress levels. Then apply the lotion to your neck area around your lymph nodes, across your abdomen and even to the bottoms of your feet. Then give it a few minutes and think about how you feel. Chances are you’ll notice a difference. I’m betting this would even be helpful for those who have anxiety issues or travel anxiety.
Next, they sent me a bottle of Rejuvenation. Micheal had been talking about this product for months and months. You see while I love the Warming CBD Muscle Rub, some folks don’t love the texture or they feel that it might stain their clothes. I haven’t had these issues; however, because it is a muscle rub it’s not easy to apply to large areas of the body. Also, I often end up with green stuff up under my finger nails from where I’ve scraped the rub out of the bottle. Rejuvenation was created to cure these ails, it’s a lotion version of the muscle rub.
On first introduction, I didn’t love the scent of the Rejuvenation. Their regular CBD lotion and the Serenity are very calm notes with the Healing Hemp CBD lotion carrying tones of eucalyptus and tea tree oil (very clean smelling), and the Serenity just having a very muted calm scent. The scent of the Rejuvenation lotion is much stronger than I’m used to out of their products, and it’s also very spicy in comparison. I can’t quite place the scents. That said, I mentioned it to them and they instantly replied back that they’d actually reformulated the scent to be less strong and sent me out a bottle of the new formulation. I could definitely tell a difference. While the overall palette was the same it just wasn’t as strong and I really appreciated that. The scent itself has really grown on me and now I actually kind of like the scent. For what it’s worth, the scent smells more masculine to me.
Enough about scent, how does it work?
I’ve been using the Rejuvenation lotion for about a week now and I really like it. It works as well as the muscle rub but it’s easier to use. I’m still likely to keep a small tin of the rub in my purse as it’s easier to carry. However, unlike the rub the lotion is something I feel like I can use regularly on much larger body areas. No more rubbing ointment into my calf, instead I can rub lotion over the whole leg (or my whole body for that matter). With Fibro, often it is the whole body that needs something.
To summarize. I’m loving both of these new products. Serenity is my new favorite product from The Fay Farm, it’s going to be my go-to lotion. Rejuvenation won’t quite replace the Warming CBD Muscle Rub, but I will be reaching for Rejuvenation more often than the rub.

Hi Julie!
I love Fay Farms! I have their cbd warming muscle rub, cbd healing hemp, cbd serenity and cbd rejuvenation lotions. I just received the last two this week. Love the serenity at night..so calming! The rejuvenation is great during the day..I agree the smell leans to the spicy and masculine. I can say with all honesty that I cannot be without their products. They are amazing! If I am ever up their way I would love to visit and take a tour. Michael Yocco is so nice and helpful. They truly want to bring relief to people that suffer from chronic pain. So here is a confirmation to your review..anyone out there who hasn’t tried this..you need to! Being able to take advantage of Julie’s blog discount is a wondeful time to try it.

I’m right there with you. There are few products that I’d say that about (can’t be without) but theirs are at the top of the list.
