Perhaps the worst thing about traveling is that I don’t get my nightly bath. Ever since the day (shortly after my Fibro diagnosis) that a therapist at my chiropractor told me about taking a bath in epson salts it has been part of my daily (or rather nightly) routine. The magnesium in epson salts is great for helping your muscles relax whether you have Fibromyalgia or just worked out a little too hard.
A couple of months ago the nice folks at Village Naturals contacted me and asked if I would give their bath products a try, and I was happy to do so. They sent me a selection of products which included the Cold & Allergy Relief foaming bath, the Aches and Pains Muscle Relief bath salts, the Aches & Pains Tension Relief bath salts, and the Aches & Pains Nighttime Relief lotion.
The bath products are definitely my favorite and I really enjoy mixing them up a bit, instead of just using one product. It only takes just a little bit of the foaming bath to get the bath bubbles going and it smells great. I mix that with both the of the two bath salts and even add in a little bit of regular bath salts. All of the products have Menthol so they cool the bath down a little bit (reminder: increase the temp of the water a little to compensate). The Aches & Pains Nighttime lotion also has Menthol which is probably why I’ve not used it nearly as much as the other products. That said if I was feeling too warm or not feeling well I’d be covering myself in this lotion as I believe it would give a great relief.
What I’d really like to do is try the Aches & Pains Muscle Relief foaming bath and combine it with the Aches & Pains Muscle Relief bath salts and lotion. I’m betting that would be an awesome combination. I love the combination of Eucalyptus and Spearmint in this particular product.
