Review: FibroCane from Premier Bioceuticals

Last Updated: May 18, 2015

Welcome! It looks like you might be new here, so I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about me and my blog. My name is Julie Ryan and I live with Fibromyalgia. I've chosen to live positively, to fight back with diet and lifestyle changes and it's made a huge difference for me. The difference between living all my days in bed, and actually LIVING. I hope you'll keep reading and subscribe to my Newsletter to make sure you don't miss a post. Thanks for visiting!

*BTW, just a heads up that the post below may have affiliate links (some of my posts do).

Review of FibroCane Supplement Protocol

Back in January, The nice folks at Premier Bioceuticals contacted me and offered to let me try their Fibrocane protocol line (free product in exchange for honest feedback) and I found two products that I really enjoy, the Serenitea and the FibroCane Daily.

FibroCane from Premier Bioceuticals is formulated based on whole foods and not chemical isolates, something that I believe strongly in. This is directly linked to something that I really liked about these products -low, if any side effects. In fact, even the products that I didn’t love had no side effects. Let’s start with the products that I love and have continued using for several months.

Serenitea is a very tasty gluten-free, caffeine-free, herbal tea designed to help calm you and make sleep easier. The herbal blend is made of three types of Tulsi (Holy Basil), Cardamon, Chamomile, Peppermint, Rooibos, and Ashwaganda. It’s lightly sweetened with Stevia. The taste of this tea is really nice. I typically drink a cup of it while I’m in the bath before I hit the bed and I’ve found that when I do so I fall asleep much easier and faster. While this tea is reminiscent of Yogi Bedtime tea, the formulation is quite different and when I’ve compared the two (by using different ones on different nights) I’ve found that the Serenitea works much better.

FibroCane Daily is a multi-vitamin targeted to those with Fibromyalgia. This was oddly the last of their products that I tried and I wish it was the first. This multivitamin is made of up just about every vitamin / supplement that is suggested for those with Fibro starting with Vitamin D, Vitamin C, and several forms of Vitamin B, combined with Magnesium, Protease, GABA, Ginger, and some other great stuff. This product has been great for giving me more energy during the day without a crash later. Because it does have GABA in it, but also because you should do so before starting any new supplement, you should consult your doctor before starting this one.

It took less than a month with each of these to really see how well they work. I plan to keep both of them in my repertoire.

I’ve also tried these products and while I didn’t love them as much as I did the Serenitea and Daily, I still think they are worth a try.

FibroCane Energy is a supplement drink made of anorganic mushroom blend (reishi and cordyceps) combined with herbs that are commonly recommended for fatigue. I tried this for several weeks and I found the results inconsistent. There were some days where it really seemed to give me increased energy without any sort of caffeine crash feeling, but then other days when I drank it and it didn’t seem to do anything. The biggest thing that kept me from continuing with it was just the lack of convenience of the drink mix. The drink mix is chocolate flavored but not strongly chocolate flavored. It mixed best with some sort of milk (I usually go with Almond), or in with a fruit smoothie. I also tried it with water and coffee. It was definitely overkill with coffee leaving me feeling tense, plus the “greenness” of the flavor didn’t work well with coffee.

FibroCane Calm is a homeopathic spray that is gluten-free, yeast-free, sugar-free, and yeast-free designed to help calm the nerves, reduce stress, tension, and anxiety, and reduce sleeplessness. I’m not a big believer in Homeopathic remedies but I did notice something with this product, and maybe it’s just a little placebo effect, but it did seem to work. The biggest thing I noticed with this one was when my TMJ joints were getting really tight due to stress/ anxiety, I could spray this on each side inside my mouth and my jaw would feel a good bit looser. Again, my biggest beef here is with the convenience factor. Most of the time when I could use something like this I’m out and about and I just don’t have the room in my bag to carry a pharmacy (and by default I have to carry a bit of one).

Overall, I’ve been really impressed with these products and what they’ve offered me. I’ll definitely be continuing with the Serenitea and the FibroCane Daily, and would recommend both of them. I’d also recommend trying their other products and seeing how you like them, and how they work for you. Premier Bioceuticals offers a Money Back Guarantee. If you aren’t satisfied with the products, just return them for a full refund (minus shipping).
