What’s Your Mantra? – My MantraBand Review

Last Updated: November 4, 2013

Welcome! It looks like you might be new here, so I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about me and my blog. My name is Julie Ryan and I live with Fibromyalgia. I've chosen to live positively, to fight back with diet and lifestyle changes and it's made a huge difference for me. The difference between living all my days in bed, and actually LIVING. I hope you'll keep reading and subscribe to my Newsletter to make sure you don't miss a post. Thanks for visiting!

*BTW, just a heads up that the post below may have affiliate links (some of my posts do).

Welcome back! I'm so glad that you are here again. If you've not already, be sure to subscribe to my Newsletter and I'll update you each time I post (and occasionally I'll send you something special).

A couple of weeks ago I posted on twitter about my new My MatraBand bracelets. I love them as they consistently remind me to focus on the thoughts I want to be thinking, rather than the negativity around me. I don’t even have to look at them to be reminded, just hearing them jangle together or feeling them on my skin is a great reminder. But, when I do look at them I am instantly reminded of the specific thoughts I need to focus on.

My friend Dawn, who runs our local Fibro Support Group, told me about these bracelets after her mom ordered her a couple. She was so thrilled with how nice they were that she convinced me to check them out. Once I did and saw how nice they were and how many options they had available for Mantras on the bracelets, I couldn’t resist. The next thing I knew I’d ordered 3 of them.

“It is what it is”
“Let Go” (which in my mind is “Let it Go” – same thing I guess)
“Live in the Moment”

The bracelets are totally adjustable, so whether you have large wrists or small ones (like me) they will fit. I finally just adjusted mine to a point where I can keep them on comfortably and no longer take them off.

I enjoy having them around even if I’m not wearing them. Just seeing the words on them reminds me that I’m OK. I’m reminded to just “let it go” and that “it is what it is”. Having those constant reminders helps me deal with anxiety and focus on living in the moment rather than stressing about what may come.

Do you have a mantra to help keep your thinking on track? @mantraband Share on X

My MantraBand is a company that listens to their customers. Many of the available Mantra bracelets came from suggestions from their customers, and soon they will be adding a “Warrior” Mantra to their line. They are constantly adding new Mantras, so whatever it is that you are wanting to remind yourself of, whatever your Mantra already is or you want it to be, it’s likely already there are will be. If it’s not there, be sure to leave them a note on their Facebook page or Twitter and let them know why you think your mantra should be added to their line. They have great customer service and are so quick to respond to customer feedback. It’s obvious that they live the positivity they are helping encourage in each of us.
